London Build Expo is one of the largest construction shows in the UK, from roads to robots this convention has lots to offer! Thousands of AEC professionals flock to this 2 day event hosting 100’s of exhibitors and over 500 speakers across 6 stages.
It was great to finally meet in the person (covid passport pending) after so long in isolation, the withBIM team popped along for the two day event and came away inspired, energised and motivated!
Needless to say we gravitated towards the BIM & Digital Construction Stage but there was plenty to see and admire on the other 5 stages.
Lots of great conversations and thought provoking ideas, there has never been so much potential for change through technology, with proper application the possibilities are endless!
There is a noticeable shift in the industry, designers are embracing technology and BIM as a solution as appose to hurdles and mandates that must be satisfied, making it work for them.
That being said, how we govern and standardise these processes in the coming months / years will be key to adoption, forming a solid foundation to work from and build upon.
